People always say, "the rich get richer", and it's true, but who cares? It's not like there's not plenty of opportunity for you to create your own path.
Okay, so you had "that idea". I did too.
Others did as well.
Maybe the 'rich person', because he's rich, got to do it before you even had a chance.
That's happened to me also.
Read enough of this website and you'll see. I've had ideas. Tried to do something with them, and couldn't because, well, many reasons.
The point is, someone did them. So I was on the right track.
Open Doors and Opportunity comes when there is an opportunity and the doors are open.
You have the money. You have the knowledge. You have the connections.
It's just YOUR TIME! Your turn.
No one knows how it really works, but I'm pretty sure God is involved.
This photo on Twitter stuck out to me just now for a few reasons:
- Yesterday I saw a video about shopping malls and all the stores and brands that have closed since their 'heyday'. I mean, it was a walk through my childhood and teen years! WOW.... so many places, gone. Many were multi-million dollar, hundreds of sites stores. Vanished.
- I'm reminded of the Forbes 400, where new members come, and old members 'go', all the time. People come out of nowhere, build something on a dream or idea, and disappear just as quickly.
- All of these companies may not be with us in the future, but everyone involved saw the Open Door and took the Opportunity to build it anyhow.
Open Doors and Opportunity. That's what it's all about. It doesn't have to succeed. It doesn't have to last. You just have to do it. Because.
